“As a teenager with a thirst for finding new music, I discovered two or three tracks that really stood out to me: March of the Flower Children, the opening song on the album Future by American band The Seeds, and later on the same album, Flower Lady and Her Assistant; and then Flowers in the Sky by English band The Revolving Paint Dream. These songs came out 15 or 20 years apart, but they tell a psychedelic and deeply significant story about nature, the ephemeral and what the things around us can become in us, with the strength of the soul – both ours and theirs. What is the soul of flowers? That's what I'm wondering when I look at the series in this book: Morgan Cuinet's collages are a kind of poetic yet very concrete look at what occurs in the plants that surround us, how nature envelops the world, intertwining with it and within it: everything overlaps, these images seem to say. Each plant inhabits and haunts the other. In the same way, these collages haunt those who look at them: are they narrating a vision of the future or a dream state? They are icons of our present, a time when we are aware that flowers and plants and nature are essential to our lives, and that they will outlast us, withstanding everything. Their metamorphoses tell the story of our world. These images tell the story of our lives.” - Joseph Ghosn

The book is printed with Risograph technique and comes hand bound in the typical Sonic Pieces style, using the same materials as on the record covers.
